Scratchboard Pets

The scratchboard pet portraits are one of a kind pieces of art, I work with every client on picking the right pose and photograph. The piece begins with actually creating the board from wood layered with clay then ink. I then create the image by scratching away the dry ink with a sharp knife. The finished piece is varnished for durability and luster.
